River of Slime is the creation of Ryan Bird. Shortly after the onset of 2020 Bird had the vision for Slime and River of Slime was born. As a one man production Bird started making punk rock songs in his living room. He then worked with Forrest Roush on Gremlins of The Mind. He got more into songwriting and was super inspired by his son Phenix. Phenix is a member of the band coming up with song ideas and lyrics. Much of River of Slime is influenced and created with the help of Phenix Bird, Ryan's 5 year old son. Together they wrote songs like "My Butt Did That", "Cookies", and "Nightwatchers".
